Sabertooth Tiger was a local LA band from 2002 - 2010, releasing their first full length LP on Gold Standard Laboratories (GSL) entitled "Extinction is Inevitable". After GSL called it quits as a label, the band self-released their second LP, "Set the Controls", but never officially. This reunion show is a chance to share that record with everyone who buys a ticket, for FREE!
Sabertooth Tiger is a sonic mix of rock and punk, with some kind of 90s hardcore thrown in the mix. The lyrics are biting, sarcastic and political as the times reflected. The US was in a constant state of war in the first decade of the 21st Century, and the band was in a constant state of war with the absurdity that was around us. Not much has changed.
On guitar, Aaron Farley blends ripping chords with melodic hooks leaving you both pissed off and tearful at the same time. On drums, Dave Ferrara brings the thunder of a manic man on a mission to release that lifelong Philly angst. On bass, Chris Burnett blends rhythm and 1/8 notes like a mad vegan chef with no mercy.
The queencore band from Los Angeles, CA USA.
The Chavez Ravine
The Chavez Ravine — Manny Nieto, Mando Lopez and Phil Guerrero — are about as Los Angeles as it gets.
Snot nosed diseased ridden punk anthems that crawl up your leg and gnaw at your ears, Spewing out of the slimy gutters of LA. Snarling, to the point vocals and ripping bass lines with the beat to back them and Not to mention the occasional debaucherous leads.
Made up of; Jonny Watkins (Black Boots/Future Graves/Cheap Tissue), Eric Big Arm (Die Group/Way To Go Genius) and Shaun Clark (Crazy Squeeze/Black Mambas, The Gaggers/Miscalculations) and they're here to show you what raw, fucked up rock n roll is all about
