Perfume is a cathartic outlet for LA based artist Matthew James Turnbow. Perfume performs songs about love & life, manifested in the form of gleaming synthpop. With the act’s visceral live show being the only way to hear their forthcoming music, you won’t want to miss Perfume’s set at Echo Park Rising this year. Be sure to bring champagne and dress very well - because, why not?
"Kaz Mirblouk is a Los Angeles-native multi-instrumentalist. To date, Kaz has released both an EP, Through the Glass, and his debut album, Imitate, Intimidate, both on Lolipop Records. Following the release of his first record, France-based label Six Tonnes De Chair reached out to Mirblouk and released a single for his song "Sidestep". After going to college in Northern California and touring around the country, Mirblouk decided to move back to his home town and took a break from his solo efforts to join local bands Numb.er and Hooveriii. During this time, Mirblouk has spent the past couple years touring the US and Europe with both bands while working on the follow up to his first record between tours."
Joshua & The Holy Rollers
Weaving between the melancholic story-telling tendencies of folk and sweat-drenched vocals of rock and roll, the music of Joshua & The Holy Rollers is equal parts lullabye and banger. Rich with mellow vibes and the big reverbs of a singer songwriter who has stories to tell, the gritty guitar riffs of a band that wants to get loud and an authentic soulfulness that gives you the comfort of a singer that “feels” the words as much as he “sings” them, Joshua & The Holy Rollers has a sound that is both familiar and unique. Led by Mac Hanson - guitarist, vocalist and songwriter - is made complete by fellow southern boys - guitarist Logan Baudean, drummer Joey LaRosa and bassist Al Moore, rounding out the titular ‘Joshua & The Holy Rollers’.
With touring and tracking the next record quickly approaching, JTHR IS eager to hit the road and share years of hard work with the world; their first single off of the EP “Hey Hey” releasing on September 6th, 2018 and their first EP releasing November 9th, followed shortly by their new single “Talks Like Alabama” on March 8th, 2019.
