    Alex Cameron’s Saxophonist Roy Molloy Rescues Drowning Boy

    Roy Molloy, Alex Cameron’s saxophonist & business partner, is a hero both on and off the stage! He dove into stormy waters at Rockaway Beach yesterday to rescue a drowning boy. “He was floundering, drowning—I don’t think he’d have been able to get himself in,” Molloy told a local news crew. Since a young age he was exposed to Motown and r&b becoming interested in singing thanks to his grandmother.     So we took a road trip, (is it still a road trip when you’re flying Delta?) to Nashville for the Americana Fest. We met some people, heard some bands and had a real good time. Highlights: Nicki Bluhm singing Tammy Wynette’s D-I-V-O-R-C-E. The shit kicking guitar work of Luke McQueary at the iconic Robert’s Western World, where we had to pick our jaws up off the floor after being wowed by this 17 year old picker/player.     Listen: All Them Witches Single “Diamond”

    Nashville’s sludgiest jam band All Them Witches carry over their genre-blending brilliance to video for their latest single, announce US and world tour dates, including a show at Echoplex on November 9th.
