Honeyblood’s beginnings start in 2012 with two musicians performing as a duo. Shona McVicar and Stina Tweeddale met at the same concert their bands were both performing. Two years later, McVicar splits with the band and is replaced by another musician, Cat Myers, who is later involved in Honeyblood’s self-titled album and their 2nd studio album. In 2019, it is announced that Honeyblood will be continuing as a solo project with Stina Tweeddale as the face of the moniker.
