On Friday April 19th, The Shrine will be kicking off their European Tour while celebrating their record release at The House of Machines in LA.
The all ages show will feature performances by The Shrine, The Paranoyds, Cat Scan, various DJs, and even more special guests that are yet to be announced. There will also be a full art show and interactive experience.
The Shrine
The Shrine is a group that elicits a sound from the past without depending on nostalgia, has been together since 2008. Since then, they have released three albums and a few singles and EP’s. The trio describes their sound as “psychedelic violence”.
The Paranoyds
LA based four piece, The Paranoyds, have been making music since their high school days. Their music hits a sweet spot between SoCal garage rock and surf pop. They have released several EP’s and toured with various up and coming artists.
Cat Scan
Cat Scan, a group that blends surf rock and punk to perfection will also be headlining the show. Once featured on Rolling Stone as a song you need to hear, NRA is their latest single that is sure to impress the crowd.
House of Machines is located within the Los Angeles Arts District. It is a meeting place that exists to bring together man, woman, and machine. It is everything from bikes to bar to live music.
With a stellar venue and bands like these you just can’t miss this show.
