JAZZ IS DEAD
Georgia Anne Muldrow
Born in Los Angeles to acclaimed jazz musician Ronald Muldrow, known as an instrumentalist with Eddie Harris, and Rickie Byars-Beckwith, leader of the famed Agape Choir and a noted spiritual teacher with the New Thought movement, Georgia was exposed to music at an early age. Upon graduating, Georgia moved to New York for The New School’s jazz program and met fellow students Robert Glasper and Bilal. Connecting with the likes of Wajeed led to her works on the critically acclaimed Platinum Pied Pipers’ Triple P album, but being on the NYC Subway underneath the World Trade Center during the mayhem of that tragic event led her to abandon New York for Los Angeles. Working with local producers such as Ras G, Dibiase & Sa-Ra grew her buzz which attracted major artists Erykah Badu & Mos Def.
Pete Rock (Special Jazz DJ Set)
Peter Phillips (born June 21, 1970 in Bronx, New York), better known by his stage name Pete Rock, is an American record producer, DJ and rapper. He rose to prominence in the early 1990s as one half of the critically acclaimed group Pete Rock & CL Smooth. After the duo went their separate ways, Rock continued with a solo career that has garnered him worldwide respect, though little in the way of mainstream success. Along with groups such as Stetsasonic, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots and Gang Starr, Rock played a major role in the merging of elements from jazz into hip hop music (also known as jazz rap). He is widely recognized as one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time, and is often mentioned alongside DJ Premier and RZA as one of the mainstays of 1990s East Coast hip hop production. Pete Rock is also the older brother and younger cousin, respectively, of rappers Grap Luva and Heavy D.
Editors from About.com ranked him as #2 in their "Top 50 Hip-Hop Producers" list.

Wordsmith, a term thrown around loosely these days and seldom associated with a female. With the odds stacked against her, and the consistent jargon of the music business being a male dominate industry, the self proclaimed "Jane-of-all-trades" ILL CAMILLE is focused and determined to make her mark amongst the who's who of the music scene, male and female alike.
Supa Lowery Brothers
Trumpeter/Songwriter Christopher Lowery and twin brother, Drummer/Producer Wesley Lowery, make up the heart of the Supa Lowery Brothers. Born and raised in Philadelphia,PA with a sound to be reckoned with, this pair were determined to make their name known. The Lowery Bros. music not only manifests the musical talents and ideas of this awesome duo but it also mirrors the spirit and influence of their musical hometown of Philadelphia. With original compositions that range in styles from Jazz, Hip Hop, R&B, there is no other choice than to place them under the genre of good music. Under the influence of their father, a professional drummer, it was inevitable that the two pursue a career as professional musicians. Their training started with the Tony Williams Youth Jazz Ensemble & The Clef Club Philadelphia of Performing Arts Center. Later they entered Philadelphia’s High School of Creative and Performing Arts, the only school of it's kind in Philadelphia dedicated to preparing and developing the skills of those pursuing a career in the arts. After high school Chris attended Delaware State University where he studied under Jazz Legend Trumpeter Donald Byrd. After an early start playing professionally in the Philadelphia area, Wes chose to move to Brooklyn,NY and attend Long Island University to pursue a degree in Jazz Studies. After an abbreviated stay at Delaware State, Chris decided to go to New York city to complete his Bachelors degree at Long Island University. That marked the beginning of the Supa Lowery Brothers Band. It wasn't long after hearing the music of the two brothers that fellow college schoolmates and talented musicians decided to join in and complete the sound that it is today. After years of performing regularly in New York City and touring the country the Supa Lowery Brothers relocated to Los Angeles where they held a residency at Shutters On the Beach Hotel in Santa Monica,CA (one of the leading hotels in the world). Most recently the Supa Lowery Brothers have opened and performed with comedic star Dave Chappelle at venues around the country ,most recently a month residency at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
