Adam Payne

b. Los Angeles, CA. drummer since age 14 and made electro tape noise under the name 6789866. In 2001 he started Residual Echoes in Santa Cruz, CA initially as a psychedelic mix-tape recording project. recorded and self-released ‘residual echoes’ in 2002 and released several titles with that band until 2006 when relocating to Los Angeles.
From 2007 Payne made solo records and recorded more full-lengths as Residual Echoes each having a variety of styles.
Payne has toured as a multi-instrumentalist and/or recorded with other artists including Gun Outfit, Elisa Ambrogio, Whysp, Swahili Blonde, Jack Name, ESPS, Man's Assassination Man, King Tuff, Mammatus, Cass McCombs, Hepa-Titus, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, Six Organs Of Admittance, & White Manna.
Residual Echoes broke up in 2013 and since 2014 Payne continues his solo touring and recording while playing in other groups.
Kathleen Kim

Kathleen Kim is an experimental musician and composer with a background in improvisation, avant jazz and classical theories. Her solo work primarily uses extended violin and voice to create musical abstractions that provoke shared human emotions and experiences. Kathleen's current collaborative projects include avant jazz chamber ensemble LA Fog and experimental duo SheKhan. She has performed in a wide range of music and art contexts including the openings of the 2012 Whitney Biennial and the 2017 Venice Biennale in Dawn Kasper's Nomadic Studio. She studied with Yusef Lateef and Jim Nadel, and has collaborated with a diverse group of improv musicians and sound artists.
