Shane Weisman is a versatile up and coming indie folk/rock singer-songwriter. Weisman fell in love with music at an early age despite spending most of his adolescence training as a competitive golfer. At age 7 he began to channel his creative energy into drumming and at age 13 taught himself how to play the guitar. None of his peers knew of his passion for music, but after an invitation to audition at Berklee College of Music led to his eventual admittance, the secret got out that Shane was seriously pursuing music.
During his short time at Berklee, he was taught and mentored by the same professors that spawned Berklee alumni legends such as John Mayer. Shane quickly made a name for himself as a gifted singer-songwriter at school and gained notoriety among his classmates for his intuitive ear for production. He soon began producing for his peers and collaborating with artists across genre lines.
After the release of Hangin' On EP, Shane was approached by Simone Felice, the producer of The Lumineers' hit record Cleopatra, to record some songs at his studio in Upstate New York. In 2017, the small town kid from Ohio with a big dream was given an opportunity of a lifetime and he jumped right on it.
Weisman thrives off of performing his songs and has a 'Springsteen' like energy that he brings to all of his performances, even at the most intimate of shows. Weisman has also had the opportunity of being invited to support many artists live including Grammy-nominated artists such as Brothers Osbourne and Brandy Clark.
