Roger Hallaway is a unique talent. His sound combines classic analog sounds of the past with the clarity of modern pop music. This results in a product that is fresh yet tinged with nostalgia.
Inspired by auteurs of the past, Roger is highly involved in all stages of his artistic output. He writes all of his own material, designs all of his own album covers, and directs all of his own music videos.
And his talents aren't just simply restricted to the studio environment. While performing live, Roger delivers an positively electrifying act while being supported by an elite group of musicians. His musical vision has no place for backing tracks or stale arrangements: each performance is guaranteed to be an undeniably unique and encompassing experience.
I’M SORRY is an experimental jazz group from Los Angeles. With an influence of punk and funk, this group creates a unique blend of rhythm and improvisation that is from other planets. The group is the representation of the hidden insecurities of the bandleader Ben McPeek. And while studying at California State University Northridge, Ben apologized enough to convince the other band members Myles Martin (drums), Josh Turner (Bass), Keelan Walters (Guitar), and Jesse Seibold (Trumpet) to join the band. I’M SORRY if we have bothered anyone with our music. I’M SORRY if we haven’t bothered enough people with our music.
