From the guys who wrote DEADPOOL and ZOMBIELAND comes a new dark comedy series from YouTube Originals, WAYNE.
In this gritty (and often savage) tale, sixteen-year-old Wayne (Mark McKenna, SING STREET) leaves his run-down neighborhood in Brockton, MA on a dirt bike with the girl of his dreams Del (Ciara Bravo, BIG TIME RUSH, RED BAND SOCIETY). Their M.O.? To go to Florida and take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. With nothing but nunchucks and a postcard to lead the way, it’s Wayne and Del against the world.
Created by Brockton native Shawn Simmons, WAYNE takes you on the wildest coming-of-age journey you’ve ever seen. With a full serving of brutally realistic action, tracksuit wearing Massholes, and pet gators, it’ll make you wonder why Holden Caulfield never used a trumpet as a weapon.
