About The Echo + Echoplex
The Echo & Echoplex has solidified its stance as the go-to destination for major local music events, dance nights and a wide spectrum of touring acts while introducing some of the hottest bands to the L.A. music scene, voted top 5 music venues in Los Angeles by Filter Magazine. Both venues are known for its adventurous booking policy that embraces talent from around the world and down the block. The coveted free Monday Night Music residency has helped launch the careers of The Airborne Toxic Event, Hanni El Khatib, War Paint, Active Child, and Foster the People. The Echo is located at 1822 Sunset Blvd, The Echoplex entry is located thru the alley at 1154 Glendale Blvd. The neighborhood is Echo Park
From the 101 Freeway Southbound: Take Glendale Blvd. exit, turn left onto Temple and right onto Glendale Bvd., continue to Echo Park Blvd to Sunset Blvd.
From the 101 Freeway Northbound: Take Alvarado exit, turn left onto Alvarado, proceed to Sunset Blvd and turn right.

Valet Parking is located at Taix Restaurant off of Sunset Blvd and additional parking lots are located at City Bank one block north of The Echo.
North Bound - Take the Metro line #2 to Alvarado / Montana
South Bound - Metro local line 92 to Glendale /Park or Metro Local line 4 to Sunset / Park.
Metro Bike Share: There are dozens of Metro Bike Share stations throughout L.A., offering convenient car-free access to Echo Park.
Uber/LYFT - Rideshares and pick up and drop-offs are encouraged.

You MUST be 18+ with Valid ID to enter the venue unless it is an All Ages show. Accepted forms of ID are current and non-expired: State Issued ID or Driver’s License, Military & Passport ID.

You can purchase tickets online after 4pm at Prufrock Pizzeria box office (446 S Main St in DTLA), or at the door with cash only. Keep up to date with Facebook and twitter as well as our weekly mailing list for the latest announcements! Some shows will sell out in advance!
YEP we have an ATM at each venue entrance. There is also a Bank of America 2 blocks East on Sunset Blvd and a Citibank 2 blocks West of the Echo on Sunset Blvd.
Absolutely no professional cameras (any camera with a removable lens) or recording devices are allowed without a photo pass. Further restrictions do apply, even with a photo pass. Venue enforces shooting professional photos during the first 3 songs with no flash, and requires a photo release. Camera phones are allowed and Instagramming is encouraged at most shows. Camera phones and nonprofessional cameras are at the discretion of the artist performing, so please check the photo policy at the door. If you plan to shoot video, please let us know in advance.
Please contact the artist you would like to photograph about getting a photo pass for their show at one of our venues. We (Spaceland) cannot grant photo passes–as it is the artist’s decision as to who they want photographing them. Same policy stands for press passes - please contact the artist’s label or publicist for this. Unfortunately, we cannot give you this contact information.
Echo Park is a mecca of good food, the best taco trucks in the city. For the vegetarians, there is Elf, Sage, Mohawk Bend. Next door to The Echo is Triniti Cafe serving small plates with big flavor and if you are looking for late night eats after the show, head to the Brite Spot.
There are a number of hotels and motels in the nearby area in Chinatown, Silverlake, Echo Park, and Downtown
