First Fridays at the Natural History Museum is back for round two! We are very excited to welcome Chicago-based duo, DRAMA, on Friday, April 5th! Joined by special guest Harriet Brown, who will be debuting his brand new release, Mall of Fortune, a genre-bending album that holds the ability to absolutely captivate any audience. His originality on and off stage is what makes his performance so special, and one that cannot be overlooked.
DRAMA is a duo made up artists Na’el Shehade and Via Rosa, who together conjure up an alluring blend of R&B and dance music. Though only just shy of two years as a duo, DRAMA has managed to quickly gain attention for their originality and ability to push boundaries due to them remaining independent throughout their musical career. They self-released their debut Gallows in 2016, followed by Lies of Love and their most recent single, Dead and Gone. They have racked up an impressive amount of streams in a very short amount of time- and it’s for good reason. DRAMA releases music that is like nothing you have heard before, because they have the freedom to explore sounds that haven’t yet been tapped.
“They don’t care about social media followers; they self-release all their music and record in their own studio, and it’s all by choice.” – Billboard
