La Dispute just dropped their first new album since signing with Epitaph Records, Panorama. Throughout, there is a perfect balance of the musical elements and the traumatic nature of lyrics. Panorama is a narrative of loss, the grieving process and how these memories can take you back to an exact moment in time.
The new album has provided the opportunity to work with The Trevor Project, the group that is leading the nation in providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to the LGBTQ+ community. On the La Dispute website you can find an interactive digital fantasy called Pilgrimage. The interactive walkthrough allows the viewer to discover the lyrics and music of Panorama. Fans are able to download the game for free, but are able to pay any amount they want which will be donated fully to The Trevor Project. To get involved, click here.
The group formed in 2004 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since then they have gained a reputation for exploring genres and themes within their albums. That is clear to see on Panorama.
If you enjoyed this album as much as we did, be sure to grab tickets to see La Dispute at The Regent Theater on Friday, April 19th.
